Digital Files and Repositories Preservation Policy
Digital Archive Preservation
The journal Perspectivas Sociales y Administrativas is part of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) project to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, uninterrupted perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. PKP PN ensures that journals not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
This journal undertakes various processes to ensure the permanent accessibility of the digital objects it hosts on its own servers:
- Backups.
- Monitoring of the technological environment to anticipate possible format or obsolete software migrations.
- Digital preservation metadata.
- Use of DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
The files published on this website are available in easily reproducible formats (PDF, HTML).
The digital preservation policy will be periodically reviewed by the journal Perspectivas Sociales y Administrativas.
Repositories
The journal Perspectivas Sociales y Administrativas currently deposit research papers on the Zenodo platform, which is an open-access general-purpose repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN.
This journal allows authors to deposit all versions of research papers in institutional repositories or another repository of their choice. The repository policy can be verified at Sherpa Romeo, the database to which we are affiliated.
