La educación superior en el desarrollo económico. Un estudio bibliométrico y su perspectiva teórica

Los estudios bibliométricos constituyen una herramienta fundamental para observar e interpretar el comportamiento y la evolución de la producción científica en torno a un tema específico. En este sentido, la presente investigación desarrolla un análisis bibliométrico sobre la educación superior en el desarrollo económico. Para ello, se seleccionaron artículos publicados en revistas indexadas en Scopus entre 2001 y 2024, empleando como criterio de búsqueda los términos “educación superior” y “desarrollo económico” en los títulos de las publicaciones, lo que permitió identificar un total de 84 artículos. El análisis se llevó a cabo mediante el software Bibliometrix y VOSviewer, que facilitan la caracterización formal y temática de la producción científica a través de indicadores bibliométricos. Como la producción científica anual, el mapa de colaboración entre países, el documento más citado globalmente, las palabras clave más relevantes, la productividad de los autores y la frecuencia de términos a lo largo del tiempo, así como las principales líneas de investigación y la relación entre palabras clave y temas.
