Desempeño financiero, crecimiento económico sectorial y educación financiera. Un estudio bibliométrico

Los estudios bibliométricos son herramientas valiosas para analizar y comprender las tendencias, patrones y avances en la producción científica relacionada con temas específicos. Por lo que el objetivo fue analizar la evolución y las tendencias de la producción científica relacionada con el desempeño financiero, el crecimiento económico sectorial y la educación financiera, mediante un estudio bibliométrico, con el fin de identificar las principales líneas de investigación, países e instituciones más productivas, así como las relaciones temáticas que sustentan la competitividad y la sostenibilidad empresarial. Se consideraron artículos publicados en revistas indexadas en Scopus en el periodo 1984-2025. Se empleó el software Bibliometrix, VOSviewer para realizar el análisis bibliométrico, que permitió identificar el incremento sostenido de la producción científica desde el 2014, el idioma predominante es el inglés en revistas de alto impacto Q1 y Q2. El análisis temático identifica al desempeño financiero empresarial como un eje articulador entre gobernanza corporativa, innovación y sostenibilidad. La educación financiera se articula estratégicamente como variable transversal que fortalece la toma de decisiones en gestión de riesgo y competitividad empresarial. El análisis confirma la convergencia de teorías institucionales, de redes y de capital humano, que explican la competitividad, resultado de la interacción entre capacidades internas y marcos institucionales. Se evidenció una brecha en América Latina y la necesidad de mayor cooperación regional para investigaciones aplicadas. El trabajo representa un aporte pionero al integrar las tres dimensiones en el análisis bibliométrico, es un aporte con visión estructural a la interrelación de finanzas, conocimiento y sostenibilidad.
