Análisis bibliométrico de la brecha salarial. Tendencias teóricas

Resumen

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar la evidencia empírica desarrollada, respecto a la brecha salarial con enfoque de género, con variables propias de las mujeres en diferentes sectores económicos y situaciones sociales. Los documentos considerados corresponden a un análisis del periodo 1968-2025, de la base de publicaciones de la revista indexada Scopus. Los resultados del análisis con la herramienta Bibliometrix muestran que la brecha salarial es objeto de análisis constante, debido a que se identifican sectores y países, que presentan esta desigualdad no únicamente por las variables observables, sino más bien que hay un grupo de variables inobservables. Resultados que conllevan a la presunción de que la discriminación, especialmente desfavorable al género femenino, es por factores que no tienen que ver con sus capacidades ni habilidades, más bien, simplemente por variables propias del género femenino, basado en 435 documentos, relacionados con las variables de interés y que los resultados muestran que la brecha salarial ha sido ampliamente estudiada, pero surgen variables emergentes que inciden en ella.
